Terms of Service
Last updated 3 October 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Springuplist, including the dashboard, the public waitlist pages it hosts, and any emails sent through it. By creating an account or using Springuplist in any way, you agree to these Terms.
If you're using Springuplist on behalf of a company or other entity, you're confirming that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. What Springuplist is
Springuplist lets a founder build a waitlist page, collect signups, reward referrals, and send email updates ("broadcasts") to the people who've joined. Throughout these Terms, "you" or "founder" means someone with a Springuplist account, and "waitlist member" means someone who has joined a founder's waitlist but doesn't have a Springuplist account of their own.
3. Accounts
Signing in uses a one-time code sent to your email address — there's no password to manage. You're responsible for keeping access to that email address secure, and for everything that happens under your account.
You need to provide an email address you actually control and keep your account information accurate. You must be capable of entering into a binding contract to use Springuplist.
4. Credits and payments
Springuplist runs on credits, not a subscription. Every account starts with a free balance, and credits are spent as signups arrive and broadcasts go out. Credits never expire. When you run out, you can buy more in packs, priced in USD and charged through our payment processor, Paystack.
Credit purchases are generally non-refundable once completed, except where required by applicable law. We may change credit pricing going forward; purchases already made aren't affected retroactively.
We don't store your full card details — Paystack handles that directly. We keep a record of each transaction (amount, status, and a reference) for your billing history and our own accounting.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Springuplist to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, or harassing content, or content that infringes someone else's rights. You're responsible for the content of your waitlist page and every broadcast you send from it, including making sure your broadcasts comply with applicable anti-spam laws.
You agree not to attempt to circumvent the credit system, manipulate the referral mechanism to misrepresent genuine interest, scrape or harvest waitlist member data beyond what we provide you, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you put into your waitlist page and broadcasts — your copy, branding, and anything else you upload or write. By using Springuplist, you give us the right to host, store, and transmit that content as needed to run the service, including sending it in emails on your behalf.
7. Waitlist members
If you've joined someone's waitlist, you aren't a Springuplist account holder, and these Terms don't create a direct contract between you and us for the broadcasts you receive — that relationship is with the founder whose waitlist you joined. We process your information as described in our Privacy Policy in order to run the service on the founder's behalf, including delivering their broadcasts and tracking your queue position.
Every broadcast includes an unsubscribe link. Using it stops future broadcasts from that specific waitlist.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, is used for abuse or fraud, or where we're required to by law. You can delete your own account at any time from your settings — doing so permanently removes your account, your waitlists, and everyone who joined them. Transaction records are kept afterward for accounting and legal purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Service availability
Springuplist is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, and we may change, add, or remove features as the product evolves.
10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Springuplist is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost signups, lost revenue, or lost data, beyond amounts you've actually paid us in the preceding three months.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the product changes. We'll update the date below when we do. Continuing to use Springuplist after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
